Program Overview

The Master of Arts in Worship Arts and Liturgy at Abide University provides advanced graduate education in liturgical studies, worship arts, and cross-cultural worship practices. Our RCSAI-accredited curriculum integrates rigorous academic study of historical liturgy and liturgical theology with practical training in worship arts including visual arts, drama, and creative expression in worship contexts. Admission Requirements

  • Master's degree in theology or related field with research experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Worship Ministry, Theology, or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in previous undergraduate studies
  • Demonstrated experience in worship ministry or music leadership (minimum 2 years)
  • Personal statement articulating calling to advanced worship ministry or liturgical scholarship
  • Two professional references from church leadership or academic faculty
  • Portfolio or audition demonstrating musical and/or artistic competencies (recommended)
