Missional Theology and Evangelism

Program Overview

The Doctor of Philosophy in Missional Theology and Evangelism is a research doctorate for scholars, teachers, and reflective practitioners who want to think deeply about the mission of God and the church's evangelistic witness. The program engages the missio Dei tradition, theologies of conversion and religious pluralism, the ecclesiology of the missional church conversation, and the theology of gospel witness in secular and post-Christian cultures. Students work at the intersection of systematic theology, missiology, and the sociology of religion, producing original research that strengthens both the academy and the practicing church. Graduates teach in seminaries and universities, lead research for mission agencies, and write the books and curricula that shape the next generation of evangelistic ministry.
