Program Overview

The Doctor of Ministry in Evangelism and Discipleship is an advanced professional doctorate for pastors, evangelists, and ministry executives who have already borne fruit in outreach and now seek doctoral-level mastery. The program integrates the theology of mission, the history of evangelistic movements, and the leadership of disciple-making systems at congregational, denominational, and movement scale. Students research why churches plateau in evangelism, how disciple-making cultures are formed and sustained, and how the gospel advances in resistant and post-Christian societies. The doctoral project asks each student to design, implement, and theologically evaluate an evangelism or discipleship initiative in their own ministry context, producing scholarship that serves the church far beyond their own congregation.
