Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Apologetics prepares believers to give an honest account of Christian faith to people who do not share it. The degree begins where real conversations begin: with questions about the reliability of the Bible, the resurrection of Jesus, the existence of God, the problem of suffering, and the relationship between faith and science. Students learn the arguments, learn the objections, and learn the temperament — patience, accuracy, and respect — without which argument becomes noise. Apologetics at Abide University is treated as a ministry of the church rather than a competitive sport. Students study logic and clear thinking, the historical evidence for Christian claims, the major worldviews their neighbors actually hold, and the pastoral reality that many objections are carried by people in pain. A practicum in the final year places students in settings where these conversations happen: campus ministry, youth work, church question-and-answer teaching, and online discussion. Graduates leave able to explain and defend the faith clearly, to teach others to do the same, and to walk alongside those who doubt.
